RRECL Rooftop Subsidy Scheme 2019-20 (45 MW- Residential)

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL), Rajasthan today issued the Counter offer to the Techno-commercially qualified bidders who are in the range of L1+20%. Total project capacity is around 45 MW and the Estimated Project Cost was 243 Cr.

Eligible Beneficiary for SPV Grid connected Systems:-


Residential Rooftop solar installations up to 3 kW will qualify for a subsidy of 40%. For rooftop solar installations above 3 kW, and up to 10kW will get a subsidy of 40% for the first 3 kW and 20% for the remaining capacity, and for installations above 10 kW, it is 40% for the first 3kW and 20% for the remaining 7 kW. However, there’s no subsidy beyond 10 kW capacity.



Project Scope and Discom-wise Capacity:

Work is to be carried out on „Turn Key Basis‟ which includes identification of beneficiaries in Rajasthan, collection of their share of cost after adjusting MNRE financial assistance, design, supply of SPV systems with all accessories and equipments, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance services for 5 years with free replacement warranty of spare parts against manufacturing defects for five years. Expected capacity of SPV systems for the entire Rajasthan State will be 45 MW as detailed below. This quantity may further increase/decrease as per availability of allocations and CFA for this programme from MNRE, GoI.

There were around 246 companies participated in the tender. Out of which around 179 are technically qualified. Finally the price bid opened by RRECL on 21.1.19 and the results are as below:-
