ROOFTOP SOLAR SUBSIDY SCHEME IN RAJASTHAN FOR RESIDENTIAL SECTOR
Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RREC) has issued LOA ( Letter of Award) to 119 qualified bidders for Rooftop Solar Subsidy Scheme 2019-20 in Rajasthan. Only residential sector is eligible for Subsidy on the Rooftop Solar Project at their home or group housing society.
The subsidy is as per the guidelines issued by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India for the Operational Guidelines for implementation of Phase-II of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme for achieving cumulative capacity of 40 GW of Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects for the Country by the year 2022 vide O.M. No. 318/331/2019-Grid Connected Rooftop Dated 20.08.2019.
PROJECT CAPACITY
The total project capacity is of 45 MW, which is divided Discom wise as below:-
RATES
As per LOA issued by RRECL dated 19.05.2020. The rates for all discoms and slabs are as below
SUBSIDY
Rooftop solar installations up to 3 KW will qualify for a subsidy of 40%. For rooftop solar installations above 3 KW, and up to 10 KW will get a subsidy of 40% for the first 3 KW and 20% for the remaining capacity, and for installations above 10 kW, it is 40% for the first 3 KW and 20% for the remaining 7 KW. However, there’s no subsidy beyond 10 KW capacity.
APPROX No of PROJECTS/BENEFICIARIES:-
Total project capacity is 45 MW for Whole of Rajasthan and considering the average project size of 6 KW. There is possibility of around 7000- 8000 projects to be installed under Subsidy Scheme.
EMPANELED VENDORS
The residential customer should get the system installed from empanelled vendors only. The list of Empanelled vendors can be checked through RRECL Official Website or the LOA can find from the link below:-
